- TransparentShare shows a price change of 64 % compared to the index – high volatility, great potential for discussion.
Douglas shares have been a topic of discussion since their IPO. In March 2025, the Swiss investment bank UBS downgraded the stock from "Buy" to "Neutral" and drastically lowered its price target from €25.50 to €11.50. The reasons given were that the premium beauty market was weakening, growth was slowing, and debt reduction was not progressing as planned.
In December 2025, a slightly more positive tone emerged: UBS raised its price target slightly to €12.50, but maintained its "Neutral" rating. Revenues and profits could improve in 2026 and 2027, but this would require clear signs of a market recovery.

Douglas stock: Why is Douglas weak?
Don't worry: We'll address this very issue and explain why Douglas shares continue to weaken despite seemingly favorable key figures. Investors are particularly concerned about the company's debt and the fact that competitors in the beauty sector are often better valued on the stock market.
At the same time, the seasonal pattern plays a role: While the Christmas season generates strong sales, it's not enough to eliminate all concerns at once. The Douglas share therefore remains a kind of "special case" in German retail – interesting, but requiring explanation.
